Built in 1922 by renowned architect Isadore M. Lewis, Kirby Center Lofts was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011. The building originally housed the Tushiyah United Hebrew School whose design paved the way for each of the apartments to feature sprawling windows and 16” ceilings, in addition to spacious hallways, and a number of shared community spaces.
